The 1st General Assembly of the 8th Term of CNFA was successfully held on June 30, 2025, at the Taipei International Convention Center, with an impressive attendance rate of 97.3% among member representatives.

The Chairperson of the Financial Supervisory Commission(FSC), Mr. Jin-Lung Peng, and the Chairman of the Taiwan Futures Exchange(Taifex), Mr. Tzu-Hsin Wu, were invited to deliver speeches and serve as distinguished guests for the award presentation.

During the assembly, CNFA presented reports on the 2024 activities of the Board of Directors and Supervisors, approval of the 2024 work plan, financial statements, and the 2025 budget. The election for the 33 directors and 11 supervisors of the 8th term was also conducted.

Following the election, the newly elected Board of Directors and Board of Supervisors convened immediately. Mr. Cheng-En Chan, Chairman of Kuanzho Securities, was elected as the Chairman of the Association, while Mr. Alex Chou, General Manager of IBF Futures, was appointed as the Convener of the Board of Supervisors.

A handover ceremony between the incoming and outgoing Chairpersons was held right after the Board meeting. Mr. Kuo-Jung Cheng, Director of SFB, was invited to witness the ceremony.
